Art Russia 21
Art Russia is one of the largest Russian contemporary art fairs. In 2021, the fair took place at Gostiny Dvor from April 1 to April 4. Nikolay Cherednichenko's paintings and sculptures were showcased at the personal stand "Joy without a Reason." The exhibition included 18 works, such as "Palette," "Moment of Choice," "Erogenous Zone," "Metanoia," and others.

The reproduction of the "Palette" painting was displayed in the transition between Pushkin and Chekhov stations of the Moscow Metropolitan as part of a group exhibition celebrating the opening of the art fair.
Cherednichenko’s exhibition was dedicated to the artist's unique ability to experience causeless joy. It always appears unexpectedly, acts unbridled, and completely possesses individuals. This mystical encounter with the most welcome guest happens when one least expects it, but trusts in the power of chance. Joy for no reason inspired a series of conceptual works that were carefully chosen for the fair.
